LT24 does not say an existing installment agreement was terminated. It says the IRS received your proposal to pay monthly but needs additional information before it can establish the agreement.

What the IRS may need

You have two ways to finish the request. Complete Form 9465, Installment Agreement Request, and mail it to the address in the "Additional Information" section of your notice. Or call the number on your notice with your income and expense information in front of you. The IRS won't set up the agreement without those numbers and won't wait on the line while you look for them. If you no longer want a plan, pay the balance in full.

Respond by the date shown

Provide the requested information by the response date and keep a complete copy with proof of delivery. Continue making any proposed voluntary payments unless the IRS instructs otherwise; doing so does not by itself mean the agreement has been approved.

If you don't respond or pay by the date shown, the IRS may move to enforced collection, including a Notice of Federal Tax Lien or a levy on wages, other income, or bank accounts. If you cannot provide an item, contact the number on LT24 before the deadline and ask what substitute documentation is acceptable. For help completing the request, call us at (813) 229-7100.
