Letter 6217C requests additional business, estate, or trust information or addresses incorrect EIN details. Supply the requested information in the letter's timeframe. Address or responsible-party corrections may require Form 8822-B.

Match it to your earlier reply

Find the original inquiry, your response, and its delivery evidence. Mark what the new letter still asks for. That comparison helps avoid resending a large packet that does not answer the remaining question.
